Considered one of the greatest films ever made,"Jaws" became the highest-grossing film of all-time until the release of "Star Wars" (1977).  "Jaws" also took home the Academy Award for John Williams' haunting theme music.
Along with "Star Wars", "Jaws" was pivotal in establishing the modern Hollywood business model; high box-office returns from action/adventure features that are released during the summer months in thousands of theaters and supported by heavy advertising.  A model that continues to this day...
