Rare ORIGINAL hand-drawn and signed sketch by Karel Appel (April 25, 1921 Ð May 3, 2006), a Dutch painter and sculptor and one of the founding members of the avant-garde movement "Cobra". Influenced by Matisse and Debuffet, Appel's works are displayed in some of the major museums around the world. This is a hand-drawn, original 'Untitled' sketch in black, pink and yellow marker on paper by Karel Appel measuring 8 3/8" x 11 5/8". Hand-signed by the artist bottom right in black marker.
