During his football career, Jack Tatum had a reputation as one of the hardest hitters. Because of his rough style of play, he quickly became known as "The Assassin" Tatum is remembered for his involvement in the Immaculate Reception play during a 1972 playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers as well as his preseason hit against New England Patriots wide receiver Darryl Stingley that left him paralyzed from the chest down. This official Wilson football has slight sun-damage on one side; the signature is in perfect condition. This item comes with a certificate of authenticity.
